Easter Cake Recipes<\/h1>\r\nI admit that Easter<\/strong> has less power for me than Christmas<\/strong><\/a>.\r\n\r\nI think most people prefer the second holiday as more joyful.\r\n\r\nIn my childhood, the Easter Bunny didn't even visit us. But I remember how \u015amigus Dyngus was celebrated in my mother's home village. Pouring water was one thing. The second was going from house to house with rods.\r\n\r\nWith these rods we beat the adults on the legs, so that they would not be beaten they could buy us off by giving us sweets, which we collected in baskets. It looked a bit like American Halloween.\r\n\r\nDid anyone else have such a tradition? Because I only met it there and it stuck in my memory very much, although I was about 6 years old then.\r\n\r\nNow the Easter Bunny comes to my children, and at the holiday table they \"smash\" eggs - this is a tradition from my husband's home. There is always a lot of laughter :)\r\n\r\nBut apart from these traditional games, Easter for me is delicious cakes.\r\nWhat are the best Easter cakes?\r\nI most often make cheesecakes<\/strong><\/a> and babkas<\/strong><\/a>. Recently I also started making mazurkas<\/strong><\/a> - in my family home we never baked mazurkas.\r\n\r\nI don't know, I guess my mom didn't like them.\r\n\r\nNow I even make cupcakes<\/strong><\/a> and cookies<\/strong><\/a>.\r\n\r\nThe range of sweets expands every year :) Once I even baked a carrot cheesecake<\/a> for Easter - seemingly traditional, but different :)\r\n\r\nAs you can see, Easter cakes can be traditional - like our delicious Easter babkas<\/strong>, or sensational cheesecakes. But they can be very interesting and inspiring novelties.
