Below I provide a shortened list of products I used and possible substitutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>yeast<\/strong> &#8211; here I used instant yeast, but you can substitute it with fresh yeast, then dissolve about 15 g of yeast first in warm milk mixed with a teaspoon of sugar, cover and set aside for about 20 minutes, so that the yeast starter becomes very frothy and thick, then add it to the remaining dough ingredients and knead together<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>milk<\/strong> &#8211; I used 1.5% milk, you can use any other milk<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>all-purpose flour<\/strong> &#8211; type 500-550 flour will be best<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Biscoff cream<\/strong> (Lotus) &#8211; this is a cookie butter spread, it&#8217;s easiest to get it online (e.g., on Allegro), sometimes it&#8217;s available in Dealz, Kaufland or other larger supermarkets, you can replace it with Sante cookie butter spread (it used to be in Lidl, in the jam and chocolate spread section, but I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s a permanent offer)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>whipping cream<\/strong> &#8211; for the Biscoff glaze, I used liquid 30% whipping cream<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"400\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/wypiekibeaty.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/rogaliki-biscoff-5-400x600.jpg\" alt=\"step-by-step recipe for croissants with biscoff filling\" class=\"wp-image-99381\" title=\"homemade yeast croissants filled with cookie butter spread and topped with chocolate glaze\" srcset=\"https:\/\/wypiekibeaty.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/rogaliki-biscoff-5-200x300.jpg 200w, https:\/\/wypiekibeaty.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/rogaliki-biscoff-5-300x450.jpg 300w, https:\/\/wypiekibeaty.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/rogaliki-biscoff-5-400x600.jpg 400w, https:\/\/wypiekibeaty.com.pl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/rogaliki-biscoff-5.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 400px) 100vw, 400px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"czym-mozna-zastapic-krem-biscoff-w-rogalikach\">What can replace Biscoff cream in croissants?<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If you can&#8217;t find the cream anywhere and don&#8217;t have time for online shopping, you can make these croissants with Nutella or another chocolate-nut spread instead of Biscoff cream. If you prefer less sweet croissants, you can also use peanut butter for the filling (and for the glaze). This will help them stay fresh and fluffy longer. Croissants &#8211; taste best on the first day, but can easily be eaten even on the 3rd day. I then briefly heat the croissants in the microwave &#8211; for a maximum of 30 seconds. It&#8217;s best to pack each one separately and store them in the freezer that way.
