cheese muffins<\/strong> will be especially useful for people who care about a high and adequate amount of protein in their daily diet. An adequate amount of protein is especially important for people who exercise, but not only. As a woman approaching fifty myself, I need a lot of protein in my diet. In my search for products and dishes that will allow me to get an adequate amount of it, I have been exploring all protein recipes for some time now. Until now, I ate cottage cheese straight from the cup, but such a variation in the form of muffins is an excellent idea. Below are the products I used and possible substitutes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>cottage cheese<\/strong> &#8211; I recently used my favorite protein cottage cheese from Lidl here &#8211; one cup contains 30g of protein!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>skyr<\/strong> &#8211; skyrs also have a lot of protein; I recommend vanilla skyr, as it will also add a nice flavor to the muffins, but natural skyr or, ultimately, thick natural yogurt can also be used.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>protein powder<\/strong> &#8211; it&#8217;s not essential for preparing the muffins, but it will also provide a good amount of protein &#8211; you can use any flavor of protein powder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>oil<\/strong> &#8211; I used rapeseed oil, but any other mild-flavored oil can also be used; coconut oil would also work well.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>sugar<\/strong> &#8211; my muffins were baked as a post-workout snack, so sugar and flour added calories here, but if you want to get lower-calorie muffins, you can replace sugar with erythritol.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>flour<\/strong> &#8211; I made my muffins with regular wheat flour; I think it can easily be replaced with light spelt flour or oat flour. Instead of blueberries and strawberries, you can use other small fruits &#8211; and cut larger ones into smaller pieces. Instead of fruit, you can also add some grated or chopped chocolate to the batter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can change the flavor of the muffins with different extracts, flavored protein powder, or by adding grated lemon or orange zest. I transferred mine to an airtight container with a lid, which kept them soft and moist even after a few days.
