The more times the dough is folded and re-rolled, the more layers (leaves) are created within it.\n\nThen, during baking, these layers slightly separate. The butter between the dough layers melts and creates steam, which separates the dough layers.\n<strong>How<\/strong> to make <strong>puff pastry?<\/strong>\nFor the basic dough, we need flour - necessarily sifted, butter, a little water, and salt.
