How to make almond cake with apples step by step
Step 1 - preparations
Preheat the oven to 170℃ (fan-forced) or 180℃ (top/bottom heat mode).
Grease the baking pan with butter and sprinkle with breadcrumbs or flour (you can also line it with baking paper).
Mix together the flour, almonds, and baking powder.

Dice two larger apples.

Slice the third apple.
Step 2 - preparing the creamed almond cake
Place butter and sugar in a large bowl (if you wish, you can add a touch of almond extract) and start mixing them together at high speed.
160 g butter, 200 g powdered sugar, almond extract
Beat for several minutes until the butter mixture becomes fluffy and pale in color.
Then add one egg at a time and a spoonful of the mixed flour to the bowl - mix briefly - just until combined and at low speed of the mixer.

Once you've added all the eggs, add about half of the remaining flour and mix briefly, then add the rest of the flour and mix just until combined – stop mixing when you still see remnants of flour.
Then turn off the mixer and gently fold the batter with a spoon.
Add the diced apples to the batter and gently mix.
Transfer the batter to the prepared pan.
Arrange the sliced apple on top and finally sprinkle the top of the cake with almond flakes.

Step 3 - baking the almond cake with apples
Place the pan with the cake on the middle rack of the oven and bake for about 50-55 minutes – until a wooden skewer inserted comes out clean.
After baking, cool the cake and remove it from the pan.
