How to make brownie cookies with pretzels step by step

Step 1 - preparations

• Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it with the butter.
  200 g chocolate, 100 g butter
  
• Break the pretzels into smaller pieces - some can remain whole.
  approx. 50 g pretzels

Step 2 - preparing the cookies

• Add sugar to the chocolate mixture and mix with a spoon.
  100 g sugar
  
• Add flour mixed with baking powder and mix.
  120 g wheat flour, 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  
• Add eggs one by one and quickly and vigorously mix with the chocolate mass.
  3 eggs
  
• Add pretzels and mix.
  
• Put the cookie dough in the fridge to firm up slightly - for about an hour.

Step 3 - placing the cookies

• Turn on the oven to heat to 180℃ (top/bottom mode) or convection 170℃.
• Line a large baking sheet from the oven with parchment paper.
• Using a large spoon (or an ice cream scoop), scoop portions of dough and place them on the baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  
• Finally, place and gently press one pretzel on top of each cookie.
  

Step 4 - baking

• Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake the cookies for about 11-15 minutes.
• After baking, the cookies will still be soft, so wait until they cool down before removing them from the baking sheet!
