How to make gingerbread chocolate liqueur step by step
Step 1 - preparing the cream
Pour the cream into a saucepan, add cocoa (if using) and gingerbread spice - mix and heat.
250 ml heavy cream, 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder, 2-3 teaspoons gingerbread spice mix
When the cream is hot, add the broken chocolate and mix thoroughly until completely dissolved.
200 g white chocolate
Set aside for a dozen minutes to cool.
Step 2 - preparing the liqueur
Pour the vodka into the chocolate cream and mix.
300 ml vodka
Pour the liqueur into a large (about a liter bottle) or several smaller bottles - I recommend pouring the liqueur through a sieve to get rid of any coarser pieces of gingerbread spice.
Set the liqueur aside for 24 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
Before serving, it is good to shake the liqueur vigorously.
