Place the pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 55-60 minutes - until a wooden skewer inserted comes out clean (if you have a slightly smaller pan, you might need to extend the baking time).
After baking, remove the cake from the pan and let it cool.
Step 4 - preparation of orange icing
Pour the powdered sugar into a bowl, add some orange juice and mix - if needed, add more juice - the icing should be thick, but slightly runny.
100 g powdered sugar, approx 20-30 ml orange juice
Spread the icing over the top of the cake, finally, you can additionally sprinkle it with a little poppy seeds.
