How to make Red Velvet Bundt Cake step by step
Step 1 - preparations
Grease the bundt cake pan with butter and dust with flour or breadcrumbs.
Preheat the oven to 180℃ (top/bottom heat mode).
Sift together flour, cocoa, baking soda, and salt through a sieve.
300 g wheat flour - all-purpose, 25 g unsweetened cocoa, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 0,5 teaspoon salt
Step 2 - preparing the cake batter
Pour oil and melted butter into a large bowl, then add eggs and sugar.
160 g oil, 110 g butter, 300 g sugar, 2 eggs
Mix them together for about 2-3 minutes until well combined and slightly fluffy.
Add vanilla (if using), vinegar, and food coloring to the bowl.

Add buttermilk and blend briefly.
240 ml buttermilk
Gradually add the sifted flour and mix briefly on low speed - just until combined.
If the batter is not red enough after adding the flour with cocoa, you can add a little more food coloring.
Step 3 - baking the Red Velvet bundt cake
Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan and level it.
Place the cake pan with the bundt cake into the hot oven and bake for about 50 minutes - until a toothpick comes out clean.
After baking, remove the pan from the oven and let it rest on a wire rack for about 10-15 minutes - after this time, carefully run a knife around the edges and remove the bundt cake onto a plate.
Step 4 - preparing the icing for the bundt cake
Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl, gradually add the heavy cream and mix thoroughly.
