How to make pineapple cake step by step
Step 1 - preparations
Preheat the oven to 170℃ (fan-assisted) or 180℃ (top-bottom heat mode).
Grease the baking pan with butter and dust with flour or breadcrumbs.
Mix the flour with baking powder.
420 g wheat flour - all-purpose,
2 teaspoons baking powder
Step 2 - preparing the batter
Place the drained pineapple pieces in a large bowl (or blender jug), add eggs and blend together until smooth.
1 can pineapple,

Add oil and sugar to the pineapple mixture and stir - you can do this with a spoon.
180 ml oil,
200 g sugar
Add the mixed flour and stir until combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan.
Step 3 - baking the pineapple cake
Place the pan with the cake into the hot oven and bake for about 45 minutes - until a dry stick comes out clean.
After baking, cool the cake.
Step 4 - preparing the pineapple icing
Sift the powdered sugar into a bowl and gradually add pineapple syrup, mixing thoroughly - the icing should be thick and slightly runny.

Spread the icing over the cooled cake.
