How to make strawberry dessert step by step
Step 1 - Preparing the strawberry pudding
From 400 ml of milk, pour off about 100 ml into a bowl and add the pudding powder and sugar (if you have unsweetened pudding) – mix.

Pour the remaining milk into a saucepan and start heating.
Add the dissolved pudding mix to the milk in the saucepan and mix thoroughly together - cook until you get a thick pudding.
Immediately cover the hot pudding with cling film and set aside to cool completely.
Step 2 - Preparing the strawberry fruit filling.
Wash the strawberries, remove the stems, and cut the fruit into smaller pieces - place them in a saucepan.

Add sugar, lemon juice, and water to the strawberries - mix and heat.

Cook the strawberries until they slightly break down.
Mix the potato starch with a small amount of water.

Pour the dissolved starch into the boiling strawberries and stir until the mixture thickens.
Set aside the strawberries to cool.
Step 3 - Preparing whipped cream
Pour the whipping cream into a tall bowl, add powdered sugar, and whip together at high speed until you get thick whipped cream.
250 ml whipping cream, 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
Set aside 3-4 tablespoons of whipped cream in a small bowl - it will be for decorating the dessert.
Step 4 - Preparing strawberry cream
Remove the cling film from the chilled pudding.
Add 2-3 tablespoons of whipped cream to the pudding and gently mix together.
Add the rest of the whipped cream and mix thoroughly - if the mixture doesn't want to combine into a uniform cream, you can briefly blend it with a mixer at low speed.
Step 5 - Assembling the dessert
Place lightly broken biscuits at the bottom of the dessert glasses - if using.

Spoon the pudding cream into the dessert glasses.
Layer the cooled strawberry fruit topping over the cream.
Finally, decorate the strawberry dessert with the reserved whipped cream.
