How to make chocolate cheesecake with cherries - step by step
Step 1 - preparations
Wash and pit the cherries (remove the stones).
approx 500 g cherries
Heat the heavy cream and add the broken chocolate to the hot cream - mix thoroughly and set aside to cool.
250 ml heavy cream, 200 g chocolate
Turn on the oven to heat to 150 degrees in top-bottom mode. Place a sealed form filled with water at the bottom of the oven.
Line the baking pan with baking paper, or grease it with butter and sprinkle with flour or breadcrumbs.
Blend the cookies for the crust into a fine powder, combine with melted butter, and thoroughly press them into the bottom of the baking pan.

Step 2 - preparing the chocolate cheesecake
Place the cheesecake ingredients (except for the chocolate with cream) in a large bowl and briefly mix with a mixer - just until combined.
1 kg quark cheese for cheesecakes, 5 eggs, 300 g sugar, 30 g chocolate pudding powder
Add the cooled chocolate with cream and mix briefly.
Pour the cheesecake mixture into the prepared pan.
Arrange the pitted cherries on top.
Finally, you can sprinkle the cheesecake with crushed cookies.

Step 3 - baking the cheesecake
Place the cheesecake pan in the oven and bake for approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
After this time, turn off the oven and gently open the door, leaving the cheesecake inside until the oven cools down.
Step 4 - chilling the cheesecake
Refrigerate the cooled cheesecake for several hours, or preferably overnight, so that it chills thoroughly.
