How to make creamed chocolate cake
Break the chocolate into pieces and melt it in a double boiler (or microwave) - set aside to cool.
100 g chocolate
Mix the butter with sugar until a white and fluffy mass is formed.
125 g butter,
150 g powdered sugar
Sift the flour through a sieve together with baking powder.
150 g wheat flour - all-purpose,
2 teaspoons baking powder
Add the cooled chocolate to the butter and mix briefly.
Add the egg yolks and mix until combined.

Add the flour to the batter and mix on low speed - just until combined.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff and add to the batter - gently fold in with a spatula.

Transfer the chocolate batter to the prepared pan.
Bake in an oven preheated to 180 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat) for about 50 minutes - until a dry skewer comes out clean.
After baking, cool the cake, then cut it into two layers.
How to make chocolate-nut cream
Melt the milk chocolate in a double boiler and let it cool slightly.
100 g chocolate
Transfer the mascarpone cheese to a bowl, add the hazelnuts and chocolate - mix until combined.
250 g mascarpone cheese,
about 50 g hazelnuts
Spread the cream on the bottom cake layer and cover it with the second layer.
How to make chocolate glaze
Break the chocolate into pieces, transfer to a heatproof bowl, add the heavy cream and melt in a double boiler.
100 g chocolate ,
50 ml heavy cream
Cool the glaze slightly, then spread it over the top of the cake.
Finally, sprinkle the cake with chopped nuts.
