Add the flour to a bowl, add powdered sugar and egg, cut in the butter - in pieces.
225 g wheat flour - all-purpose, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, 150 g butter, 1 egg
Knead the dough - if it doesn't stick together, add a little cold water.
water
Wrap the dough in cling film and put it in the fridge for about an hour.
After this time, roll out the dough or grate it and line a baking pan with a diameter of about 28 cm with it.
Lightly prick the surface with a fork.
Place a piece of baking paper on the dough and pour ceramic baking beads onto it, or dry peas/beans.
Blind bake the dough at 170 degrees (fan mode) for 15 minutes. Remove the paper with the weights and bake for another 5 minutes - until the dough is golden brown.
Cool the baked crust.
How to make halva cream for mazurek
Break the chocolate into pieces and melt in a double boiler - place a bowl with chocolate over a pot with water poured into the bottom - heat until the chocolate melts. Set aside to cool.
50 g white chocolate
Transfer the mascarpone cheese to a bowl, crumble the halva into it.
250 g mascarpone, 100 g halva
Blend the halva and cheese together into a smooth mass.
Add the cooled white chocolate and blend together.
Halva Mazurek finishing
Spread the shortcrust base with a layer of blackcurrant jam from Stovit.
0,5 jar jam
Spread the halva cream over the jam.
If you want to make chocolate dots on the mazurek like I did, then pour a flat teaspoon of cocoa into a small bowl, add a little water to it - so that it is slightly liquid.
Dip a clean toothbrush, or a clean, rather stiff brush, in the cocoa and, by tapping the brush, splatter the top of the mazurek.
Put the cake in the fridge to chill - for several hours.
