Peel the apples, remove the cores and cut into small cubes.

Transfer the apples to a large bowl.
Add oat flakes, sugar, flour and eggs to the bowl - mix.
200 g oat flakes, 2 eggs, 4 tablespoons wheat flour - all-purpose, 100 g sugar
Add melted butter and cinnamon (if using) and chopped nuts or raisins (if using) - mix with a spoon.
60 g butter, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, nuts
The mixture is not strongly bound, but if it's too dry, you can add a little milk.
Line a large baking tray from the oven with baking paper.
Spoon the cookies onto the tray (they can be quite loose).
Bake at 170 degrees (fan-assisted) for about 15-20 minutes (I baked two trays of cookies at once and swapped their positions roughly halfway through baking).
