200 g poppy seeds
After this time, drain the water - it is best to line a fine sieve with a muslin cloth or several layers of paper towels and pour the poppy seeds along with the water through this sieve.
Add sugar and eggs to the drained poppy seeds - mix.
70 g sugar, 2 eggs
You can now add your favorite additions to the poppy seeds - chopped nuts, raisins, orange peel. I like to add a few drops of almond extract to it.
