Fat Thursday

Fat Thursday – best recipes
How can you not love this day?
You can feast with impunity, they even bring whole trays of doughnuts swimming in glaze to work. And on top of that, whole stacks of them peek out from every confectionery display.
And then you can even compete about how many you’ve already eaten. And they are eaten for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and if all goes well, even for an afternoon snack.
Pure madness :)
Recipes for doughnuts, Polish cheese doughnuts, and angel wings!
How many tons of doughnuts and angel wings we eat then – probably better not to know.
I also loosen my “belt” a bit more on this day – because as tradition dictates – you have to eat a doughnut, because Lent is coming and fat will be scarce ;)
Well, okay, now we don’t worry about Lent so much and we can eat doughnuts every day, but Fat Thursday is Fat Thursday.
You can always make lighter baked versions – you can bake angel wings, make baked doughnuts or baked oponki (cheese doughnuts).
So if you’re not afraid, bake your own doughnuts, angel wings, and other delicious treats for this day.
