How to make homemade cinnamon liqueur step by step
You can prepare this liqueur in two ways - I made it the first way.
Method 1 for preparing the liqueur
Pour heavy cream into a blender jug and add cinnamon.
250 ml heavy cream,
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Add dulce de leche and blend briefly together - just until combined.
500 g dulce de leche
Pour in the vodka and blend very briefly.
Instead of a stand blender, you can use a hand blender.
500 ml vodka
Transfer the finished liqueur into bottles.
Method 2 for preparing the liqueur
Pour the cream into a saucepan and add cinnamon - heat it up.
250 ml heavy cream,
2 teaspoons cinnamon
Add dulce de leche to the cream and stir gently while heating until you get a smooth mixture.
500 g dulce de leche
If the mixture is very hot, set it aside for a moment to cool down.
Pour the vodka into the slightly cooled mixture and mix.
500 ml vodka
Transfer the liqueur into bottles.
After preparation, store the liqueur in the refrigerator for 24 hours so that the flavors can meld.
Shake the bottle before use.
