How to make oil cake with strawberries step by step
Step 1 - preparations
Line the baking pan with parchment paper or grease it with butter and sprinkle with flour.
Turn on the oven to 180℃ (top/bottom heat mode) or 170℃ (convection).
Mix the flour with baking powder.
450 g wheat flour - all-purpose, 2 teaspoons baking powder
Wash the strawberries and cut them into smaller pieces - in half or in quarters.

Step 2 - preparing the batter
In a large bowl, crack the eggs and add sugar - blend together for a few minutes until the mixture is very fluffy and pale.
8 eggs, 300 g sugar
Add lemon juice to the beaten eggs and blend briefly.
2 tablespoons lemon juice
Add part of the flour and blend briefly.
Add part of the oil and blend briefly - alternate adding flour and oil until finished.
250 ml oil
Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
Arrange the strawberries on top of the cake - I also added some blueberries for color.
Step 3 - baking the cake
Place the pan with the cake into the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes - until a dry stick comes out clean.
After baking, cool the cake and sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
