Tea Bundt Cake – notes
Tea Bundt Cake is a nice, very fluffy and light bundt cake prepared with tea brewed in milk. Yes, that’s right – tea in milk. I boiled milk together with black tea in bags. Thanks to it, the milk gained a nice flavor and additionally acquired a caramel color. After adding the milk to the batter, it also gained a nice color and taste. The tea cake after baking is soft, fluffy, and springy. Perfect as an accompaniment to tea or coffee. I’m thinking it might taste interesting with other types of tea.
Maybe next time I’ll bake my tea bundt cake with the addition of fruity raspberry tea. It should be slightly pink and fruity in taste. If you make such a tea bundt cake with fruit tea, let me know how it turned out.
After baking, you can sprinkle the cake with powdered sugar, or prepare a tea icing. I added a bit of the tea-infused milk, reserved from the bundt cake’s preparation, to it.
How do you like this tea bundt cake? Will you be tempted to bake it?
