If you’re looking for an idea for a sweet snack perfect for a Halloween party, then you absolutely must try this recipe.

- Loaf pan about 25 cm long.
- Ice cream mold – preferably silicone.

- 150 g wheat flour – all-purpose (1 cup)
- 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 0.5 teaspoons turmeric
- 2 eggs (size L)
- 60 ml oil (1/4 cup)
- 60 ml milk (1/4 cup)
- 150 g sugar (3/4 cup)
- 200 g pumpkin puree

- 0.5 pumpkin cake
- 2 tablespoons peach jam (or apricot – I used Stovit)
- 50 g white chocolate (melted)

- 150 g chocolate (I used dark)
- 1 teaspoon oil (I used coconut)
- colorful sprinkles (for decoration)

How to make pumpkin cake for cakesicles
- In one bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and spices.150 g wheat flour – all-purpose, 1.5 teaspoons baking powder, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, 1 pinch nutmeg, 0.5 teaspoons turmeric
- In a second bowl, briefly mix the oil, milk, eggs, sugar, and pumpkin puree.2 eggs, 60 ml oil, 60 ml milk, 150 g sugar, 200 g pumpkin puree
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix briefly.
- Transfer the dough to a loaf pan and bake for about 60-70 minutes at 180 degrees (top-bottom mode).
- After baking, let the cake cool.
How to make pumpkin cakesicles
- Melt 150 g of chocolate together with a teaspoon of oil in a double boiler.150 g wheat flour – all-purpose, 1 teaspoon oil
- Coat the ice cream cavities with a layer of chocolate and place in the freezer to set.
- After about 30 minutes, remove the molds and coat with a second layer of chocolate – place back in the freezer.
- Crumble about half of the pumpkin cake thoroughly.0.5 pumpkin cake
- Add two heaped tablespoons of Stovit apricot or peach jam and 50 g of melted white chocolate to the cake – mix thoroughly.2 tablespoons peach jam, 50 g white chocolate
- Remove the molds from the freezer.
- Press the pumpkin cake mixture into the cavities and press down firmly.
- Pour the remaining chocolate on top and spread it in an even layer.
- Gently insert the ice cream sticks.
- Place the molds in the refrigerator for the chocolate to set.
- Gently remove the set cakesicles.
- If you want to sprinkle them with colorful sprinkles, you must first melt a little chocolate and pour it over the cakesicles, then sprinkle those areas with sugar sprinkles.

Pumpkin cakesicles in chocolate – notes
Whether you celebrate Halloween or not, you can still make these Halloween cakesicles :)
To avoid being too scary, I only used sugar sprinkles for decoration.
But that doesn’t have to limit you at all!
If you want, you can attach spiders, bloody eyes, or vampire teeth to the cookies ;)
I leave that to your imagination!

How to make Halloween cakesicles – tips
I started by baking a moist pumpkin cake.
For my cookie pops, I used a little over half of the cake, and we ate the rest :)
After cooling, I crumbled the cake with my hands and mixed it with Stovit apricot jam and melted chocolate.
I coated the silicone ice cream molds with a double layer of chocolate – a regular wide brush worked perfectly here.
And when the chocolate hardened, I filled the center with pumpkin cake.
I poured some chocolate over the top of the cake, so that the pops were covered in chocolate on all sides, and chilled everything in the refrigerator.

I added the sugar decorations at the very end.
I melted some more chocolate, transferred it to a piping bag, and squeezed it onto the top of the Halloween cakesicles.
Before the chocolate had a chance to set, I sprinkled it with sugar sprinkles.
Such chocolate cookie pops are a real treat for all kids.
Although adults also gladly eat them :)
