Decadent cheesecake with peanut butter and white chocolate – notes
Decadent cheesecake – what does that mean? It’s a cheesecake worth sinning for, because I must admit that despite all its deliciousness, it also has quite a lot of calories. Supposedly, 100g is a little over 200 calories, but one slice of this cheesecake is already about 200g – so yes – a cheesecake worth sinning for. But it tastes so delicious and has such an excellent velvety consistency that from time to time you can sin and treat yourself to such a dose of calories. And what makes a cheesecake decadent?
Firstly, the cheesecake base, which has not only butter but also peanut butter added to the crushed chocolate biscuits. Secondly, the cheesecake filling itself with white chocolate and dulce de leche (although I specifically used smaller amounts here so that the cheesecake wouldn’t be too sweet). And finally – thirdly – dulce de leche on top of the cheesecake and additionally peanuts. This creates a divine cheesecake that no one can resist!

How to make a decadent cheesecake with white chocolate – tips
Preparing the cheesecake itself is extremely simple. As usual, I opted for briefly mixing all ingredients – without separating egg whites and yolks. I melted the chocolate for the cheesecake in a double boiler and cooled it to room temperature before adding it to the cheesecake mixture. If you don’t know how to melt chocolate in a double boiler, don’t worry. It’s neither difficult nor complicated. Simply boil some water in a smaller pot, then place a bowl (preferably metal) on top, making sure it doesn’t touch the water, and put the broken chocolate into it. Heat it over the steam until it melts.

How to bake a cheesecake with dulce de leche?
I recommend baking it at a lower temperature – for me, at 150 degrees Celsius on top/bottom heat for about 1.5 hours. I do not recommend baking cheesecakes with convection, because then the baking is more intense and the cheesecake will have a greater tendency to sink. After baking, cool the decadent cheesecake, and then additionally chill it in the refrigerator.

How to serve a decadent cheesecake?
Before serving, spread dulce de leche on top of the cheesecake and sprinkle with peanuts. If you’re craving even more decadence, you can use salted peanuts. I love the sweet and salty combination, and salted peanuts will perfectly complement the taste of the white chocolate and dulce de leche cheesecake.

Decadent Cheesecake Recipe
What makes a cheesecake decadent? Well, this is a cheesecake worth sinning for—sweet, but not overly so, complete with crunchy nuts and a velvety smooth cheesecake layer. Built on a base of chocolate biscuits mixed with peanut butter, it looks absolutely divine and tastes just as incredible. Despite the sweet additions of dulce de leche (masa kajmakowa) and white chocolate, it isn't overpoweringly sweet. Plus, you can cut through the sweetness of the dulce de leche topping by sprinkling the cheesecake with salted peanuts. A cheesecake with salted peanuts tastes exquisite and will especially appeal to anyone who loves the sweet-and-salty flavor combination. So, if you love salted caramel liqueur or salted caramel ice cream, you absolutely must top this decadent cheesecake with salted peanuts!
