quick 'murzynek' (chocolate cake) with jam

Quick blackcurrant jam cake – notes

Today I have for you a recipe for a very quick and delicious chocolate cake with blackcurrant jam. My baked chocolate cake is a true paradise for chocolate lovers! It is delicately sweet, nicely chocolatey, with a subtly noticeable blackcurrant flavor. Light, fluffy, and nicely moist – perfect!

How to make chocolate cake with jam – tips

I made it my favorite way – by mixing with a spoon in a bowl :) I used bitter cocoa, fresh eggs, and slightly tart blackcurrant jam as the base. Thanks to this, the cake is very moist, and at the same time has an intense and deep flavor. After baking, I drizzled the cake with a delicious chocolate glaze and sprinkled it with finely chopped nuts. The whole thing looks and tastes delicious! You must try it!

'murzynek' (chocolate cake) with blackcurrant jam

The cake is quick and very simple to make – anyone can handle its preparation! Even people with little experience in baking cakes. You’ll make it in ten minutes, then just bake it, and you can eat it warm :) For this murzynek, I added a lot of blackcurrant jam from Stovit (I used the sugar-free version – the jam is sweetened with xylitol). In my family home, we very often added jam to chocolate cake. It not only added sweetness but, most importantly, made the cake moist :) If you haven’t baked ‘murzynek’ like this before, you must try it :D

Recipe for chocolate cake with jam

I think all of us love sweets. Whether in the form of chocolate, fruit jams and preserves, or cakes. And what happens when we combine all these delicious things together? Something as wonderful for the palate as chocolate cake with jam will be created! Murzynek with jam is an incredibly quick cake; you only need a few moments to make it. You bake the cake with jam only once, combining all the ingredients beforehand. Chocolate cake is an ideal suggestion as a treat for unexpected guests or an addition to coffee. This cake with jam will also work well as a festive bake - everyone will surely be happy to reach for at least a slice. Children will also enjoy it, so murzynek will often appear on your table.

How to make chocolate cake with jam?

Murzynek with jam melts in your mouth, is soft, and unforgettable. Thanks to the addition of fruit jam, it is amazingly moist, and its taste differs from a typical chocolate cake. To make this murzynek, you can add any jam you like; practically all of them will fit perfectly.

Be sure to check out my step-by-step recipe and bake this cake. You only need basic ingredients available in every home and easily purchasable in a store - even a local one. If you don't have blackcurrant jam, you can use another with a slightly tart taste  - such as raspberry or cherry jam.

If you are looking for a similar recipe for chocolate cake, I recommend trying chocolate cake with raisins. Just remember one thing - soak the raisins in rum and leave them overnight to soften and absorb the flavor. The next day, you can confidently start preparing this bake.
