Chocolate milk cake – notes
The recipe for this chocolate milk cake comes from Ewa Wachowicz’s book “Cakes”.
I was looking for a simple and quick recipe for chocolate cake and this milk cake caught my eye.
Its preparation is so easy that you don’t need a mixer for it.
Just mix the ingredients with a spoon.

How to make chocolate milk cake – tips
First, you need to heat milk, butter, and sugar together – only until the butter melts.
It’s good to do this in a larger pot, because the rest of the cake will also be made in it.
When the milk cools slightly, sift the flour with cocoa, baking soda, and baking powder directly into the pot.
Mix everything with a spoon.
Now just add eggs and tart jam.
I used the remnants of my cherry-chocolate jam. I also recommend blackcurrant jam or blackberry jam.
Pour the cake batter into a long loaf pan (mine was 30 cm long) and bake until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
After baking, the cake should be cooled.
You can eat it now, or you can, like me, additionally cover it with a glaze made from chocolate melted with heavy cream :)
As you can see, the preparation is very simple and anyone can handle it. Even my son made it himself recently because he craved chocolate cake.
That’s why I highly recommend this recipe!
