Coconut – recipes for everyone!

I don’t know about you, but I personally love coconut flavors, and it seems my daughter inherited this love from me. She enjoys coconut ice cream, coconut cakes, and adores curry made with coconut milk :)

A long time ago, we only had access to coconut flakes, which were mostly used as decoration. Do you remember all those cakes, brownies, and cheesecakes topped with chocolate glaze and coconut flakes?

I still like sprinkling some flakes on top of a cake – probably out of nostalgia :)

But more often, I use coconut as an ingredient in cakes and dishes.

Coconut isn’t just about flakes.

It also includes coconut milk and cream (usually sold in cans), coconut flour (delicious but very finicky), and coconut sugar (with a rich, slightly caramel-like flavor).

And let’s not forget coconut oil – preferably unrefined. Coconut oil is very healthy and can replace other fats in cakes and dishes.

Coconut products are often used in various diets because they are gluten-free, vegan, and, above all, healthy.

It’s worth including them in your daily diet. And a cake made with coconut flour or coconut oil isn’t just tasty but also healthier and lower in calories.
