Coconut Flour
Coconut Flour – Recipes for Everyone!
I don’t know about you, but I personally really love coconut flavors, and I can see that my daughter inherited this love from me. She enjoys coconut ice cream, coconut cakes, and adores curry with coconut milk.
A long time ago, we only had access to coconut flakes, which were mainly used as decoration. Do you remember all those cakes, chocolate-topped “brownies” and cheesecakes with coconut flakes on top?
I still like to sprinkle some flakes on top of cakes – probably out of nostalgia.
Recipes with Coconut Flour
But more often, I use coconut in cakes and other dishes.
Coconut isn’t just about the flakes.
There’s also coconut milk and cream (usually sold in cans), coconut flour (delicious, though a bit tricky to work with), and coconut sugar (with a rich, slightly coffee-like flavor).
And let’s not forget coconut oil – preferably unrefined. Coconut oil is very healthy and can be used as a substitute for fat in cakes and other dishes.
Coconut products are frequently used in various diets because they are gluten-free, vegan, and above all, healthy.
It’s worth including them in your daily diet. A cake made with coconut flour or coconut oil is not only delicious but also healthier and lower in calories.
