Coconut milk – recipes for everyone!
I don’t know about you, but I personally really like coconut flavors, and I see that my daughter inherited this love from me. She devours coconut ice cream, coconut cakes, and loves curry with coconut milk :)
A long time ago, we only had access to shredded coconut, which was mainly used as a decoration. I don’t know if you remember all those cakes, brownies, and cheesecakes with chocolate frosting and shredded coconut on top?
I still like to sprinkle shredded coconut on top of a cake myself – probably out of sentiment :)
But more often, I use coconut as an ingredient in cakes and dishes.
Coconut is not just shredded coconut.
It’s also coconut milk and coconut cream (most often bought in cans), coconut flour (delicious, though very capricious), and coconut sugar (with a delicious, strong, slightly coffee-like flavor).
Let’s not forget about coconut oil either – preferably unrefined. Coconut oil is very healthy and you can replace the fat added to cakes and dishes with it.Coconut products are very often used in various diets because they are gluten-free, vegan, and above all, healthy.It’s worth including them in your daily diet.
