Coconut Sugar
Coconut Sugar – Recipes for Everyone!
I don’t know about you, but I personally love coconut flavors, and it seems my daughter inherited this love from me. She enjoys coconut ice cream, coconut cakes, and adores curry made with coconut milk. :)
A long time ago, we only had access to shredded coconut, which was mostly used as a decoration. Do you remember all those cakes, brownies, and cheesecakes topped with chocolate glaze and coconut flakes?
I still like sprinkling a few flakes on top of cakes—probably out of nostalgia. :)
But more often, I use coconut as an ingredient in cakes and other dishes.
Coconut isn’t just about the flakes.
It’s also coconut milk and cream (usually found in cans), coconut flour (delicious but tricky to bake with), and coconut sugar (with its rich, slightly coffee-like flavor).
Let’s not forget coconut oil—preferably unrefined. Coconut oil is very healthy and can replace fats used in baking and cooking.
Coconut products are widely used in various diets because they are gluten-free, vegan, and, most importantly, healthy.
Including them in your daily diet is worth it. A cake made with coconut flour or coconut oil is not only delicious but also healthier and lower in calories.
