Dark chocolate – recipes with chocolate for everyone!
Chocolate is a confectionery product made from cocoa mass, cocoa butter or other vegetable fat, a sweetener, and other additives, and in the case of milk chocolate, also milk.
Dark chocolate consists of cocoa butter, cocoa powder, and sugar, sometimes with a small addition of vanilla. It contains at least 70% cocoa mass products.
In chocolate, we find many substances that have a great impact on our health. These include: carbohydrates, protein, magnesium, iron, potassium, zinc, copper, manganese, niacin, flavonoids, theobromine, fiber, antioxidants, phenylethylamine, vitamins A, E, and B-group vitamins, omega-6 acids.
It is healthiest to consume dark chocolate, and due to its high caloric content, one should be careful with the amount ;)
Chocolate is a very versatile product and is widely used in confectionery.
It is added to chocolate cakes, is an ingredient in creams, ice creams, and glazes. Chocolates and truffles are made from it, and it is also served as a drink in the form of hot chocolate.
