Natural Yogurt – Recipes for Everyone!
Natural yogurt is a product made by the natural fermentation of milk.
Yogurt is a highly nutritious food, providing carbohydrates, proteins, fats, as well as vitamins and minerals (calcium and phosphorus). Compared to milk, yogurt contains more calcium (500 ml of milk = 350 ml of yogurt), 4–5 times more amino acids, and over 20% more B vitamins, especially folic acid.
Natural yogurt has a mild, fresh, pleasant, slightly tangy taste and a distinctive aroma. Properly prepared yogurts contain lactic acid bacteria – Lactobacillus casei and Lactobacillus acidophilus – which are known as probiotics (source: [https://zywienie.abczdrowie.pl/](https://zywienie.abczdrowie.pl/)).
I eat yogurt almost daily with homemade granola and fresh fruits.
You can also make delicious sauces for salads with yogurt, reducing the amount of mayonnaise.
I also add yogurt to cakes – especially simple sponge cakes baked with fruits.
