Puff pastry

Puff pastry – recipes for everyone!
Puff pastry is also known as laminated dough.
It is made by repeatedly rolling and folding dough with butter. The more times the dough is folded and re-rolled, the more layers (leaves) are created within it.
Then, during baking, these layers slightly separate. The butter between the dough layers melts and creates steam, which separates the dough layers.
How to make puff pastry?
For the basic dough, we need flour – necessarily sifted, butter, a little water, and salt. You can also make semi-puff pastry with added yeast – such dough is used, for example, for St. Martin’s croissants.
Making puff pastry at home is not difficult, just a bit time-consuming.
If you’re in a hurry, or doubt your baking skills, you can use ready-made puff pastry.
I often use it ;)
