Recipe for low-calorie tiramisu without eggs in glasses

If you love delicious Italian desserts, especially velvety tiramisu with aromatic coffee and mascarpone cream, but are worried about the number of calories this dessert has, then I have good news for you! Make my fit tiramisu without eggs. This skyr tiramisu has far fewer calories than traditional dessert, tastes excellent, and is wonderfully refreshing on warm days. You must try it!

  • 1 package skyr (- mine is vanilla)
  • 2 ladyfingers (long – for tiramisu)
  • bitter cocoa (for dusting)
  • coffee (without milk – cooled – can be slightly sweet)

How to make tiramisu without eggs

  • Briefly soak the ladyfingers in cooled coffee (mine with a hint of almond extract and sweetened with a teaspoon of erythritol).
    2 ladyfingers, coffee
  • Place one of the ladyfingers at the bottom of a glass – break it into smaller pieces.
  • Spread half of the skyr over the ladyfinger (if you are using natural skyr, sweeten it slightly beforehand – e.g., with erythritol).
    1 package skyr
  • Lightly dust the skyr with bitter cocoa.

  • Place the second ladyfinger and the rest of the skyr.
  • Dust the entire thing with bitter cocoa.
  • Enjoy your meal :)

Diet tiramisu with skyr – notes

It’s getting hotter and hotter, so we don’t necessarily want to stand by the oven and bake cakes. That’s why today I have a recipe for the perfect dessert for you!

No baking, no cooking, and low-calorie to boot!

I invite you to try fit tiramisu without eggs and without mascarpone cheese.

Unfortunately, mascarpone cheese, as delicious as it is, is also high in calories.

If you fancy traditional tiramisu with mascarpone, check out my tiramisu recipe – you can make it in glasses, or in a large dish – if you’re making it in a large dish, I recommend preparing the tiramisu mixture with 1.5 portions. I love it when tiramisu has lots of creamy mascarpone mass :)

Now, on such warm days, you can also make a fruit version of this popular Italian dessert – I love strawberry tiramisu – children can eat it because this tiramisu has no alcohol or coffee. Here, I suggest soaking the ladyfingers in apple juice, or water with sugar and lemon juice.

But back to my lightened tiramisu …..

How to make lightened tiramisu with skyr – tips

For my tiramisu, I used vanilla skyr. This skyr is not only delicious but also has significantly fewer calories than mascarpone cheese.

What’s more, it’s already slightly sweet in taste, so I didn’t have to add extra sweetener.

Of course, you can also use natural skyr. Then, for sweetness, add a little erythritol or another sweetener.

Erythritol is a natural sweetener that has 0 calories – so by sweetening your desserts with it, you don’t increase their calorie content.

For one serving of my fit tiramisu, I used one package of vanilla skyr and two ladyfingers for tiramisu.

I briefly soaked the ladyfingers in cooled light coffee (you can add a touch of almond extract for flavor) – you can make the coffee with erythritol if you want it to be sweet.

I broke one soaked ladyfinger and placed it at the bottom of the glass, then I layered about half of the skyr on top and sprinkled it with a little bitter cocoa.

I placed the second ladyfinger and the rest of the skyr.

Finally, I sprinkled my coffee dessert with bitter cocoa.

You can eat fit tiramisu without eggs right away, or chill it further in the refrigerator.

I know that skyr tiramisu doesn’t taste exactly like real mascarpone tiramisu, but there’s a trade-off.

Either perfect taste, or a nice dessert for fewer calories :D
