Pears – Recipes with Pears for Everyone!
Pears are, right after apples, one of my favorite fruits.
I especially enjoy them when they are still firm and juicy.
Pears are fruits whose properties and nutritional value are hard to overestimate. Pears, as one of the few fruits, contain iodine – a mineral that positively affects thyroid function. They are also a treasure trove of boron – a mineral that supports brain function. Additionally, pears may help prevent strokes and the development of high blood pressure (source: Poradnik Zdrowie).
We should eat them not only for their wonderful taste but also for their beneficial properties.
You can use pears in your baked goods. They taste amazing in chocolate cakes, but that’s not all. A simple basic sponge cake becomes phenomenal with these fruits :)
