Decorating Baked Goods

Decorating baked goods can sometimes feel like a scary, nightmarish task :)

But it doesn’t have to be terrifying at all.

The easiest decoration possible? Just a dusting of powdered sugar on top ;)

Cakes and desserts look beautiful decorated with fruit, or melted chocolate—even better when you use both! :D

You can decorate cakes with cream—just spread it over the top of the cake, and then sprinkle it with, for example, chopped nuts.

Decorating with Piping Tips

Here, we bring in specialized piping tips (or nozzles), which are metal tips with different openings. Thanks to them, we can pipe the cream in a fancy way.

We can decorate cookies with icing—it looks especially charming on gingerbread cookies.

We can cover a layer cake (torte) with cream, or special sugar paste (fondant).
