Cream cheese – recipes for everyone!
Cream cheese is a dairy product obtained from cow’s, sheep’s or goat’s milk.

It is rich in protein, calcium, phosphorus, zinc and vitamin B12.

Due to its nutritional value and low fat content, cream cheese is often used in the diet of athletes, physically active people and in a slimming diet.

Cream cheese can be eaten raw, as an addition to sandwiches, salads or fruit.

It can also be used in the kitchen to prepare low-fat versions of traditional dishes, such as cheesecake, casseroles, Russian pierogi, pancakes or flatbreads.

In the food industry, cream cheese is used to produce homogenized cheeses, country cheeses, processed cheese or other dairy products.

However, it is worth remembering that people with lactose intolerance should avoid dairy products, including cream cheese, or choose its lactose-free versions.

In my kitchen, I most often use creabm cheese for baking cheesecakes and cakes with cheese.

Remember to use good quality cream cheese for cheesecakes. You can buy full-fat or semi-fat cream cheese in a block and grind it, or buy ready-made cheese in a bucket – but also full-fat, not lean.
