My husband and I have been running together for a long time.
But my husband runs a long, long, long way, and some time ago, he got really into ultramarathons — especially mountain ones.
He is not a professional athlete, but a very advanced amateur;)
Every day we try to eat balanced and healthy meals, but due to the characteristics of my blog, we often have sweet pastries. I try to limit white sugar in them so that they are healthier.
In a diet of highly active people you have to pay for the amount of carbohydrates. Sport involves a lot of energy expenditure – especially cardio and interval exercise burns a lot of calories. It is therefore good to introduce good carbohydrates, best full-grain baking, bread, pasta And grits.
It is also important to have a large amount of protein in the consumed products – here it is best to take care of protein from meat, eggs, cheese, dairy.
And we must not forget the good fats contained in the oil, nuts , seafood or butter.
For active people and athletes I recommend various homemade granites and oatmeal It is good to add nuts and dried fruit to them.
For dinner I recommend pasta dishes and chicken After practice it’s great to drink. cocktail and bite through a healthy candy bar.
And before long runs, my husband likes to eat cool. Yeast muffin I don’t think there’s anything better than homemade yeast, either.
