Recipes for Homemade Vegetable Preserves
The most popular preserve recipes in my home are pickled cucumbers, peppers in brine, and sun-dried tomatoes in oil.
Every year, they disappear like water. No matter how many jars I make, they’re gone in no time.
Because of limited space, these are the main vegetable preserves I prepare.
I usually also make a few jars of pickled cucumbers with added chili peppers and a few jars of spicy pepper sauce.
For immediate use, we make homemade hummus and various spreads—like baba ghanoush.
