Ginger – Recipes for Everyone!
Ginger is very popular in Asia, used both as a spice and for medicinal purposes. In Poland, we are also beginning to appreciate this root.
Ginger is effective in fighting viruses and nausea (especially valued by pregnant women). It is also added to cosmetics and perfumes, and is used in the production of beer (ginger beer).
Ginger has a spicy flavor, so when adding it to dishes or cakes, it’s important to be mindful of the amount. ;)
I use it in Asian cuisine recipes, but I also often add it to cakes, especially in autumn and winter, as it provides warmth. I particularly love it paired with cinnamon.
Ginger is also an essential ingredient in gingerbread spice mix or spice mixes for cakes with pumpkin.
