No-bake tiramisu tart – an elegant dessert for any occasion
In my family, we love traditional Italian tiramisu – with coffee-soaked ladyfingers and creamy mascarpone. Recently, I decided to slightly change this Italian dessert and instead of traditional tiramisu, prepare this delicious no-bake tart. The dessert in this form looked incredibly elegant and beautiful, so I believe it could adorn any festive table. If you like Italian desserts combining coffee with chocolate and creamy cheese, then be sure to save this recipe for later!
You can easily do this also on my Instagram, where you will also find this recipe, as well as many of my other recipes. You can easily save them there for later.

What ingredients are needed to prepare tiramisu tart?
To prepare tiramisu in tart form, you will need a few basic ingredients. Below is a condensed list of products I used and possible substitutes.
- mascarpone cheese – this is a creamy Italian cheese, you can easily buy it in any Lidl, Biedronka or larger store – unfortunately, there are no substitutes for it
- heavy cream – to melt the chocolate, I used 30% UHT cream in a carton, you can optionally substitute it with 36% cream
- chocolate – I’m not a fan of overly sweet desserts and cakes, so I used dark chocolate for my tiramisu tart; if you prefer sweeter desserts, you can use milk chocolate – but in that case, use less heavy cream to melt it – a maximum of 100 ml!
- ladyfingers – you will need elongated ladyfingers for tiramisu here – you can buy them at Lidl or Biedronka

Tips for a successful tiramisu tart
For the tiramisu tart to be easier to cut and serve, the ladyfingers must soften. Soaking them in coffee will help with this – but don’t soak them too much, as they might fall apart. The ladyfingers will soften anyway under the influence of coffee and chocolate – just let them sit in the fridge for a few hours, and they will be perfect for slicing.

Do you want to prepare a dessert with mascarpone and coffee, but also want children to be able to eat it? In that case, you can substitute regular coffee with either decaffeinated coffee or grain coffee – like Inka.
If you don’t have bitter cocoa to sprinkle on top of the tart like tiramisu, that’s no problem either! Grate milk or dark chocolate on a fine grater and sprinkle the shavings over the entire tart. It will surely taste delicious!

How to store mascarpone tiramisu tart?
The tart is best stored in the refrigerator; it will then remain perfect for eating for a long time and will also be super refreshing. It can also stand outside for a while. The amount of time depends on the outdoor temperature and sun exposure. If it starts to get too “loose,” simply chill it again in the refrigerator.
I hope that this Italian dessert in a new version – in the form of a cake on ladyfingers with mascarpone and coffee – will also appeal to you, and you will enjoy preparing it. I would be very pleased if you then share your impressions in a comment under the recipe :)
