Quick Homemade Dinner Recipes
I love baking cakes, cupcakes, and cookies. I never get tired of it.
But when it comes to dinner, I often fall into a routine. No time, too tired, kids always eating the same thing.
Do you experience that sometimes too?
That’s why — even though my blog, Wypieki Beaty, is mainly about sweet baking — I started sharing dinner recipes as well. After all, dinner is considered the main meal of the day in Poland. I especially focus on quick dinner recipes perfect for the whole family. Most of them take around 30 minutes, are simple, and use basic ingredients. You’ll find step-by-step recipes so that anyone can prepare them without problems.
Homemade Dinner Recipes for Everyone
It turns out my Facebook followers really love these recipes, so they’ve become a staple on the blog too. If you’re looking for simple, quick, and tasty dinner recipes, check out what I’ve prepared for you. You’ll find one-pot dishes, traditional Polish meals, and dishes from international cuisines. See for yourself — pork chops don’t have to be the base of every dinner, and there are plenty of other delicious options to try.
To make it easier, I’ve divided the Dinner category into subcategories so you can quickly find the recipe you want.
Soup Recipes
If you love soups and can eat them all year round, check out my soups. You’ll find both cold soups — like chilled summer soups — and traditional hot soups. There aren’t too many, because my kids mostly enjoy chicken broth and tomato soup, but there are a few very interesting options, like asparagus soup or hearty sour rye soup :) Be sure to check out how to make a soup that everyone will enjoy!
Chicken Recipes
Chicken, especially chicken breasts, is always a great idea. They’re lean, low in calories, and cook quickly. If you enjoy meat for dinner, chicken is perfect for midweek when you have little time to cook. You can season it in countless ways to create different dishes each time. If chicken is a staple in your kitchen, check out my chicken recipes and pick something for a quick dinner.
Pasta Recipes
I have to admit, pasta, spaghetti, and noodles are some of my favorite dinners. Pasta with sauce can be ready in under 30 minutes, and the variety of flavors is so huge that everyone can find their favorite. On the blog, you’ll find recipes for classic lasagna as well as simple and delicious pasta dishes. Try them all :)
Pizza Recipes
Yes, we Poles have embraced pizza like it’s our national dish. My kids — especially my son — could eat it every day. That’s why we’ve perfected our pizza dough and tomato sauce recipes :)
Pizza is a very popular dinner in many households.
On the blog, you’ll find the perfect pizza dough recipe as well as surprise recipes, like yeast-free pizza or pan pizza. These come in handy when you’re short on time and need something quick.
But that’s not all!
There are also casserole recipes and savoury pancake recipes.
On the blog, you’ll find plenty of family dinner ideas.
Now they can inspire you too.
Especially since all of them are very simple and quick to make — I don’t like spending too much time in the kitchen on dinner.
My husband, on the other hand, when he gets inspired, can spend hours experimenting. The result? A pile of used dishes, pots, and pans — but it’s totally worth it :)
Try my recipes for simple and delicious pasta, pizzas, or cream soups. Savoury pancakes, casseroles, and even sweet dinners!
Prefer meat? Try juicy chicken with sun-dried tomatoes.
I admit that many of these dinner recipes are inspired by Italian cuisine — but that’s what we love most for everyday meals.
Italian cuisine is not only delicious but also simple and quick. And time is exactly what I often lack.
I haven’t forgotten fans of traditional Polish cuisine — for them, I have stuffed cabbage rolls with meat and rice or young cabbage. Add some pierogi from Grandma Halinka’s recipe, and a delicious Polish dinner is ready :)
