Chia – Recipes for Everyone!
Chia seeds are considered a “superfood,” meaning they are packed with nutrients that benefit the human body.
Chia seeds are edible seeds from the Spanish sage plant, which originates from central and southern Mexico.
These seeds are rich in calcium, iron, potassium, magnesium, zinc, B vitamins, vitamins C, A, and E, and—most importantly—Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids.
Chia seeds contain more Omega-3 than Atlantic salmon and more calcium than milk.
How to use chia seeds?
They can be ground and added to soups, yogurt, smoothies, or sauces. I like to mix them with natural yogurt or milk, leave them overnight, and eat them in the morning as a pudding with fruit.
Try making this chia pudding at home—it’s delicious and full of healthy nutrients.
