Strawberry season is slowly starting in Poland, so today I have for you a list of 15 recipes for delicious strawberry cakes. But not only for cakes, but also for other strawberry bakes – such as cookies, for example.

Strawberries are summer fruits, full of juiciness, sweetness, and intense aroma. By adding them to a cake, we can enjoy their freshness and natural taste, which makes the bake incredibly appetizing and delightful. Additionally, strawberry cake looks very nice – especially cold strawberry cakes. I probably won’t find anyone here who doesn’t like cold strawberry cake with jelly on top.

On the blog, you will find many recipes using strawberries, and in fact, all fruit cake recipes can be prepared with strawberries. Here I give you selected interesting strawberry cakes; there are both very quick strawberry cakes and more sophisticated ones that require a bit more work. However, every recipe is delicious and will surely appeal to everyone.

Strawberry season is not long, so it’s worth making the most of it. Because now these fruits are the tastiest – sweet and juicy. Out of season, you can, of course, use frozen fruits, although they are no longer as tasty and don’t look as nice.

The simple ones will be perfect for desserts, garden parties, or picnics. Creamed Strawberry Cake

This delicious buttery strawberry cake is very simple and rustic in appearance. The creamed cake batter is thick before baking, so the strawberries won’t sink to the bottom. Additionally, the cake bakes quite quickly, so the fruits won’t have time to change color and become dull. This cake will also be great with frozen strawberries or strawberries from compote.

Strawberry Temptation Cake

Strawberry Temptation Cake is a cake that will be perfect for everyday as well as special occasions. It’s a light and delicate sponge cake layered with delicious strawberry cream and decorated with sweet jelly. The cake looks beautiful and tastes even better.

Yogurt Cake with Crumble Topping

Yogurt cake is a recipe everyone should know. Because after baking, this cake is nicely fluffy yet moist. The fruits don’t sink to the bottom during baking and it tastes excellent with any fruit. These fruits are so great that they work perfectly in all sweets – not to mention strawberry ice cream. Because you can also prepare amazing strawberry ice cream at home. My personal favorite is strawberry mascarpone ice cream – delicious – you must try it! But we’re not here to talk about ice cream, but about strawberry cakes. Strawberry muffins are very simple strawberry cupcakes that you can make even without a mixer! Just mix the ingredients with a spoon and put the muffins in to bake. Thanks to their small size, strawberry muffins can be taken anywhere! Take them to work, to university, or pack them for your children’s school.

Strawberry Shortcakes

Strawberry shortcakes are small cakes, or rather pastries, which are cut after baking and served with cream and fruit. It’s a nice way to make an individual dessert and an interesting idea for a strawberry dessert. Here, out of strawberry season, you can, of course, also use other fruits, or even fruit jelly or jam.

Strawberry Buns

Under the intriguing name ‘truskawczanki’ (strawberry buns) hide delicious fluffy yeast buns with strawberries and crumble. This is a version of blueberry buns baked with strawberries. Strawberry yeast buns will surely appeal to all lovers of yeast cakes.

Cookies with Strawberries and Chocolate

These cookies with strawberries and white chocolate don’t require rolling out and cutting shapes with cookie cutters. Instead, prepare them with a mixer – quickly and efficiently. Pieces of strawberries add exquisite flavor to the cookies and make them slightly moist. Highly recommended for children and beyond!

Strawberry-Raspberry Crumble

Strawberry crumble is nothing more than strawberries baked under a crumble topping. There’s no traditional shortcrust base here, just lots of sweet strawberries and a crispy crumble on top. Such a crumble is best served after cooling slightly (to avoid burning), but still warm, and then ideally with a scoop of ice cream. For me, it’s a fantastic summer dessert for the whole family.

Strawberry Galette

Strawberry galette is a delicious and simple rustic mini tart baked with juicy strawberries. You can make one large galette here, but I like them in the form of several smaller ones. Then each family member can get their own pastry and eat it with pleasure. It’s worth serving warm galettes with a scoop of ice cream :)
