Easter Cakes 20 suggestions
See what I’ve chosen for you and find a recipe that will delight you and your loved ones. Remember, you can choose more than one cake ;) Many of these recipes will also work as Easter cakes for children. I particularly think children will enjoy the Danio cake, or the mysteriously named Minotaur cake. My children love raspberry foam cake, pavlova, and practically all bundt cakes. What do you think? Which Easter cakes would your children like?
Raspberry cloud cake on sponge cake
This cake is a delicious and light cake with raspberries in jelly prepared on a sponge cake. Additionally, we have a cream cheese frosting with mascarpone and a crispy meringue. The whole creates a delicious cake that everyone will surely enjoy.

Minotaur Cake
Minotaur Cake is another sponge cake with cream. This time we have a cocoa sponge cake, topped with an unusual cream made with powdered milk, dulce de leche, and chocolate cream. Despite the dulce de leche, the cake is not too sweet.

Danio Cake
Danio Cake is a light sponge cake prepared with puddings and a very delicate, not-too-sweet cream made from homogenized cheese. The cake looks beautiful and is very tasty. You must try it!
Are you looking for other recipes for layered cakes with cream? Then check out my cream cakes – you’re sure to find something for yourself here.

Egg Cake
This cake is made in the style of a number cake – only instead of a number, I baked eggs from shortcrust pastry. The cake layers are filled with cream and decorated with Easter sweets. With such a cake, you will surely impress your family.
Besides the egg cake, you can, of course, make more traditional cakes. You’ll find plenty of great recipes for delicious cakes here.

Advocaat Cheesecake
This cheesecake is a real marvel. Delicious, tall, and velvety. With white chocolate and a generous amount of advocaat – but don’t worry – the alcohol evaporates during baking, leaving only the liqueur’s flavor. Therefore, advocaat cheesecake can be safely eaten even by children :)

London Cheesecake
This cheesecake is one of the best cheesecakes I’ve ever eaten. Richly creamy, velvety, and delicious. Besides, it’s Nigella Lawson’s recipe – so it must be out of this world! If you haven’t made it yet, you absolutely must bake this cheesecake for Easter.
Also, check out my other cheesecake recipes – there are so many that it was hard for me to choose just a few.

Dewdrop Cheesecake
Dewdrop Cheesecake is a true classic. A light and creamy cheesecake on a shortcrust base, topped with a thick layer of meringue with characteristic dewdrops. This cheesecake will reign supreme on every holiday table :)

Halva Mazurek
Recipe for the perfect Mazurek for Easter. A shortcrust base topped with tart blackcurrant jam and a halva cream made from vanilla halva mixed with mascarpone cheese and white chocolate. This mazurek is sweet and delicious!

Lemon Mazurek
A second recipe for a delicious mazurek. This time in a lemon version. This light and refreshing mazurek is made with lemon curd, a lemon cream. It’s the perfect Easter cake for lovers of lemon flavors.

Easter Yeast Bundt Cake
When it comes to Easter cakes, bundt cakes are, of course, a must. This yeast bundt cake will be perfect! Fluffy, slightly sweet, with raisins and orange peel – the best!

Citrus Yeast Bundt Cake
This time, a yeast bundt cake in Italian style. Incredibly fragrant with citrus, with the addition of Limoncello. This bundt cake is a nice change from the traditional yeast bundt cake.

Spinach Bundt Cake
This bundt cake looks extraordinary. Its wonderful green color is due to the spinach added to the dough. Don’t be afraid of the spinach, though, you can’t taste it in the cake! Be sure to try this recipe for spinach cake.

Milk-infused Bundt Cake
This is my children’s favorite bundt cake. It always tastes exquisite and is very simple to make. After baking, the bundt cake is soft and velvety, and it also stays fresh for a long time. It’s my number 1 bundt cake!

Two-color Sand Bundt Cake
For Easter, there must be at least one sand bundt cake. And I suggest a two-color bundt cake – with cocoa. This bundt cake is simple and reliable. Perfect for the holiday table :)

Yogurt-Lemon Bundt Cake
This is the last bundt cake in this compilation, but that doesn’t mean it’s worse than the others. Oh no! This bundt cake is delicious, slightly lemony, moist, and very simple to make. It’s a perfect cake for both weekends and holidays.

Cinnamon Cupcakes with Dulce de Leche
There were bundt cakes, now there are cupcakes. You can prepare these cinnamon cupcakes at the last minute. They will take you about 10 minutes to make, and then 20 minutes to bake. These small cupcakes look and taste amazing!

Punch Cupcakes
Punch cupcakes are small, melt-in-your-mouth, and incredible cupcakes heavily soaked in rum syrup, served with whipped cream and fruit.
It’s hard to resist them because they disappear from the plate before you know it :)

Carrot Cheesecake Cupcakes
These carrot cupcakes are delicious, aromatic, and moist. And the addition of cream cheese gives them a super taste. These carrot cupcakes with cream cheese will be great for Easter.

Raspberry Foam Cake
This cake looks like a million dollars, and it’s surprisingly simple and quick to make :) You’ll need a sponge cake, raspberry jellies, raspberries, and unsweetened condensed milk. Raspberry foam cake is delicate, foamy like bird’s milk, and delicious!

Pavlova like a Fried Egg
Easter cakes don’t all have to be “serious”. Surprise everyone by serving them pavlova meringues that look like fried eggs :)

These are all the Easter cakes I’ve chosen. But remember, there are many more on the blog! I’ll also share my gem at the end – surprise egg brownies. They require a bit of work, but a stunning effect is guaranteed! If you have some time, be sure to make these surprise eggs.

Easter Cakes – 20 Recipe Ideas
Baking for Easter can be quite a challenge. There is always so much to do before the holidays—deep cleaning, tidying up, and cooking. Yet, having an Easter cake on the table is an absolute must. As women, we tend to be perfectionists, and everything always has to be done to the highest standard. And if it's going to be done right, it has to be done by us, right? Right! To help make this pre-holiday rush and chaos a bit easier for you, I’ve gathered 20 of my absolute favorite Easter cake recipes. Many of them are incredibly quick and simple to make.
Easter Cake Ideas
This roundup is an overview of the most essential holiday bakes. You’ll find mostly recipes for Bundt cakes (babki), as a traditional Easter Bundt cake is a staple in Poland. Even so, I managed to pick out just a handful of them. However, my biggest dilemma was definitely choosing the cheesecakes. There are so many cheesecake recipes on the blog, and each one is unique. It was hard to narrow it down, but in the end, I selected three. You can check out the rest in the main category. Easter baking also includes layered cream cakes. These always impress guests and taste absolutely sensational, even though they do require a bit more time and effort.
Easter Baking
It’s always a good idea to make at least one cream cake—especially if you are expecting a larger number of guests. A big sheet cake layered with cream is bound to have plenty of fans. On the other hand, if you are short on time, cupcakes and muffins are an excellent alternative. As a rule, preparing them takes just a dozen or so minutes, and they are fully baked in 25 minutes max. That’s why you can easily whip them up at the very last minute. During Easter, cakes taste best when shared with family and friends, and cupcakes are incredibly easy to divide among many people.
Baking for Easter
If you have a bit of extra time on your hands, you can try making some fun, playful treats—especially when Easter falls on April Fools' Day. In that case, you could bake meringues that look like fried eggs, or make a chocolate cake baked right inside empty eggshells. Creative Easter bakes like these are sure to surprise everyone!
I truly hope you enjoy these Easter cake ideas and that they inspire you to do plenty of delicious, sweet baking!
Happy Easter!
